WORK CONTENT AND DESCRIPTION
This excellent Sports Internship is based at a superb school with a well developed
Sports Department. There are 1,800 students, who are all encouraged to participate
in more than their academic studies alone. The School has a wide selection of specialist
programs that run alongside their academic programs. The school is particularly
proud of their competitive Swimming program, their sports facilities, and their
'Gifted and Talented Music Program'.
The main school we work with has a superb reputation and excellent facilities. Physical
Education takes place twice a week throughout Years 8, 9 and 10. Students can also
complement their PE classes with Dance, Outdoor Education, Racquet Focus or extra
PE Cricket/AFL (Aussie Rules). The School is the current Grade A Champions in Swimming
and Athletics. Other competitive sports they participate in include Football, Netball,
Soccer, Rugby Union, Cricket, Basketball, Cross-Country Running and Water Polo.
