Galapagos Islands Conservation, Reforestation and Community Project
Work to preserve the native and endemic forests of San Cristobal Island. This is the only project in the Galapagos Islands that combines environmental, community and social initiatives to improve the sustainability of the islands. Plus, it’s loads of fun!
There are numerous elements to the project that you'll be involved in and most of the work is on reforestation, research and community based projects.

Wildlife Rescue, Rehabilitation and Release in the Ecuadorian Rainforest in Puyo
Help this Quechua family-run Centre to rescue, rehabilitate and, where possible, release wild animals in the fight again trafficking, abuse and hunting of wild species. Some of the most satisfying work you can do will be to provide some enclosure enrichment and mental stimulation. You can use your creativity to provide useful “toys” and games for the animals.

Care for Children in a Children's Hospital in Quito
Brighten up the lives of severely disabled or sick children. You'll help to cheer them up with games and other activities, as well as providing educational support to those who've been in hospital a long time. With their lack of facilities, even a minimal amount of effort on your part brings a great deal of happiness into the lives of the children you'll be working with. Help to put a smile back on their faces!

The Street Kids Project in Quito in Ecuador
Work with a recently formed NGO that was founded by two psychologists who want to help children, youth and adults living on the streets of Quito. The children and young adults are at a very high risk of being totally excluded from local communities as a large number turn to solvent abuse and drugs to escape their problems, which can lead to a life of crime and violence to pay for these habits.
The main objective of this project is to help people in desperate situations, by giving them a safe environment to eat, shower, relax, meet peers, make friends and learn new skills in.

I had so many experiences there that I could NEVER have gotten anywhere else. Ecuador is a beautiful country and I met so many people from Ecuador and all over the world. A couple of my friends and I went to the Amazon rainforest for a weekend and it was an experience that I can NEVER forget!
We went to a lake in the Amazon and we swam around and none of us have ever felt more free and in touch with the nature around us. At the Jamu Lodge we did not have electricity which was cool because we did everything by candle light and that was perfect for when the tour guide would tell us his jungle stories.
That was an experience that I thank god everyday that I had the chance to have.
